    Introduction

    The Cooperative is registered as per the Cooperative Act 2048 BS and it has been operating since 2056 BS. The objective of operating this cooperative is to encourage the innovative, hardworking and low-income people to develop.

    The habit of saving for effective financial mobilization in need. It also aims to support the loan to these poor families to impart them skills for enhancing their livelihood.

    Though the Cooperative was established with a little fund, at the present, open economic policy and effective management system of the cooperatives have made the shareholders and well wishers to deposit more and it is growing towards success. The cooperative is the promoter shareholder of Gorkha Development Bank Ltd., Sagarmatha Merchant Banking Ltd. and National Cooperative Bank Ltd.
